Mohamed Ould Imame is a Mauritanian writer, journalist, poet, and translator. He currently works as a content editor and translator at Al Jazeera Media Network.
Biography
- Graduated top of his class in the journalism program at the National School of Administration, Journalism and Judiciary.
- BA in Media from Ain Shams University, Cairo, with distinction.
- Certified English translator for the U.S. Embassy in Mauritania.
- Worked as court translation and linguistic expert in Mauritanian courts.
- Participated in several international summits as interpreter.
- Participated in the "Prince of Poets" IV program in Abu Dhabi and was approved by the jury.
- Listed in the al-Babtain Dictionary of Contemporary Arab Poets (2015).
Awards and Honors
- First Prize in Arabic Poetry – Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University.
- First Prize in Arabic Poetry – Club of Foreign Students in Cairo.
- Honored by the Presidency of the Republic of Mauritania (2014).
